Creature assaults on wood piles

The seemingly harmless naval shipworm tunnels into underwater piers and pilings and is a major cause of damage and destruction to submarine timber structures (and the hulls of wooden boats).

They bore a hole into the centre of the columns and attack from within leaving the piles’ outer-appearance intact but damaging their structural integrity.

We have installed the PileJax Systems on all types of marine damaged piles and the encasement technology of PileJax provides long-term protection from marine creatures.
