CAD and FEA Services
The Joinlox team of experienced CAD designers can work with your design team to review your existing product or product concept and rapidly Joinlox engineer it. This service can include technical conceptualisation, drafting, modelling and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure the design is optimized for load and stress limits while using minimum materials. Our team can advise and design to the most cost-efficient manufacture methods to ensure real world competitiveness for your products.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
You may want to take the virtually prototyped part and present it to your production, marketing, services or sales teams to get their buy-in for the change to Joinlox. Our experienced design team can ensure accurate load case definition, effective interpretation and analysis of results. Our team can supply meaningful three-dimensional drawings and animations of your parts in an assembly, use or servicing context. The Joinlox team can test and optimise products, sub-assemblies, components and their joints.
Rapid prototyping
Sometimes a virtual part or assembly is not enough. You may want to touch and feel the joint or component, assemble and disassemble it and show it to users or customers. Depending on the part size we can produce full-size or scale models out of materials that approximate the properties of the your final parts. This helps to secure the buy-in from your stakeholders.
Manufacturing methods
Joinlox technology can be applied to many applications, from fabrication to rolling, punching and casting to extrusion and injecting moulding. The Joinlox team can provide advice across a variety of manufacturing techniques and can provide casting, moulding and tooling advice. Learn from our experience with different part shrinkage rates, notch points and FEA and engage our team to realise your product idea or minimise your tooling costs and lead times and extend the operating life of your tooling investment.
Cost modeling
How much will Joinlox save you? Financial modeling of cost savings is a must, and the Joinlox team can work with your actual figures to help you compare your current joining costs with Joinlox. A cost-benefit analysis can be conducted from concept design through to distribution, service benefits and entire life of product cost modeling.
