The award-winning PileJax pile remediation systems continue to prove to be the best option to repair costly infrastructure, saving millions of dollars in replacement costs and extend the working life of key assets around the world.

Built in 1967, the Dunbogan Bridge in the beautiful Port Macquarie-Hastings region of New South Wales, Australia, is the lifeblood of the region providing heavy and local traffic movement for the growing population.

Co-funded by the PortMacquarie-Hastings Council and the Australian Federal Government through its Bridges Renewal Program, the critical works will repair and structurally strengthen all 36 piles supporting the bridge.

Detailed engineering analysis and design was undertaken to assess the bridge piers and supporting piles to then ascertain the best possible repair, strengthening and protection methodologies. An exhaustive assessment and selection process was then undertaken by leading engineers and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council to select the best long-term pile remediation system available. The PileJax Systems were won-out to be specified and selected as the optimal structural encapsulation repair and protection system to save both local constituents and federal tax payers to cost-effectively extend the safe operating life of the Dunbogan Bridge for decades to come.
